SAMSA Offers New Enhancement Tool for E-Commerce Clients

SAMSA recently announced a new E-Commerce enhancement tool designed to make back-room operations easier for users of SAMSA's e-commerce solution. The initial installation was for Gentle Solutions, LLC. The new system works extremely well when integrated with the OS Commerce shopping system, as it allows merchants to use their website to process phone or mail orders more efficiently, thus saving a great deal of time.

Alternative solutions that Gentle Solutions considered were far too costly, so they asked SAMSA to come up with a product that would re-use aspects of their
e-commerce website, thereby saving money. Users add new customers within their site's administration area by filling out a brief form and confirming the information. The new customer account is then created with a randomly generated password, and a welcome email containing their confidential password is sent to the customer's specified email address. The final step, if the customer wishes to pay via a credit card, is to charge the credit card. Upon providing necessary credit card information, immediate results will follow.

SAMSA Installs UPS WorldShip Integration Software for Client

SAMSA recently installed the UPS WorldShip Integration system for CSH Incorporated. This system saves CSH a great deal of time in regards to importing customer information from the CSH website to the UPS system. The system also speeds order processing by enabling CSH staff to export unshipped orders directly from its website's ecommerce system into their UPS WorldShip software. Before the new software, the original method of typing and/or copying data from the CSH site to the UPS screens was time consuming and subject to errors.

UPS WorldShip, a Windows-based shipping software system, is an excellent tool for organizations encountering high volumes of shipping. The address book feature allows users to store frequently used customer addresses. The system also allows users to gather pertinent information used for customer service inquiries and invoice processing via a simple integration, amongst several other efficiency related features and perks.
